Val Rendena is the valley of the Sarca river in Trentino, in northern Italy, part of the Giudicarie region. Its principal towns are Spiazzo Rendena and Pinzolo, and it lies within an alpine landscape near the Adamello-Presanella mountain range, visible from the Passo del Groste. The valley's own Wikipedia article is sparse and uncited, so beyond this basic geographic setting little further detail about its physical geology is documented in readily available sources.
