Val Badia is the valley of the Gran Ega river in South Tyrol, Italy, stretching from the Sella massif northward to the Puster Valley. Its predominantly Ladin-speaking villages belong to the municipalities of Badia, Corvara, La Val, Mareo and San Martin de Tor, and its upper reaches, known in German as the Abteital, include the renowned Alta Badia ski resort.
