The Paznaun is a valley in western Tyrol, Austria, running southwest from Pians at 856 meters to the Bielerhöhe pass at 2,071 meters on the border with Vorarlberg. It is enclosed by the Verwall Alps to the north, the Samnaun Alps to the southeast and the Silvretta range to the southwest, and is watered by the Trisanna River. Its four main villages, See, Kappl, Ischgl and Galtür, each run their own ski resort, with Ischgl the leading winter sports destination in the valley.
