The Non Valley, known in Italian as Val di Non or Valle di Non, in German as Nonstal and in Latin as Anaunia, is a valley mainly within the Trentino region of northern Italy, made up of 23 municipalities including Cles, Predaia, Ville d'Anaunia, Novella and Borgo d'Anaunia. A smaller subregion, Deutsch Nonsberg, comprises three largely German speaking municipalities across the border in South Tyrol, linked to the rest of the valley since 1998 by a tunnel under the Hofmahdjoch. The valley gives its name to the Nones language, a Rhaeto Romance dialect still spoken there.
