The King George Islands are a subgroup of the Tuamotu Archipelago in French Polynesia, made up of four atolls, Ahe, Manihi, Takapoto and Takaroa, and the island of Tikei. Tikei lies at the group's eastern edge and Ahe Atoll at its western edge, roughly 200 kilometers apart, with the islands arranged from southwest to northeast.
