Islands of Oceania and the Pacific

This group collects the Islands and Archipelagos subcategory's members in Australia, New Zealand and the wider Pacific, including Queensland's reef islands, the granite islands of Bass Strait, New Zealand's own coastal rock and island formations, and the coral atolls and volcanic island chains of Melanesia, Micronesia and Polynesia such as the Gilbert Islands and the Tuamotus. These are the subcategory's Pacific-basin members outside the Americas and Asia, drawn from a mix of continental-shelf granite islands and true oceanic coral and volcanic archipelagoes.
