Small Isles, Argyll

The Small Isles are a group of five uninhabited islands east of Jura in the Argyll and Bute council area of Scotland: Eilean nan Gabhar, Eilean nan Coinein, Eilean Diomhain, Pladda, and Eilean Bhride, arranged from south to north. The nearest island, Eilean nan Coinein, lies about 1.25 miles from Craighouse. The group waters have claimed at least two recorded wrecks, the sloops Agnes in 1858 and Thistle in 1864.
