The Mikkelsen Islands are a small group of islands and rocks off the southeast coast of Adelaide Island in Antarctica, about four kilometers southeast of the Leonie Islands. They were discovered by the French Antarctic Expedition under Jean-Baptiste Charcot between 1908 and 1910, and named for Otto Mikkelsen, the Norwegian diver who inspected the damaged hull of the expedition ship Pourquoi-Pas at Deception Island.
