The Mule Keys are a group of scattered islets in the Florida Keys, in Monroe County, Florida, lying between about 3 and 12 miles west of Key West and separated from it by the Northwest Channel. On their west side they are separated from the Marquesas Keys by the 6-mile-wide Boca Grande Channel, and the islets, part of the Key West National Wildlife Refuge, total about 1.07 square miles of land and inland water, with only Mule Key itself inhabited.
