The Vallée du Rhône is the valley of the Rhône river downstream from Lyon in southeastern France, spanning parts of the Provence-Alpes-Côte d Azur, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes and Occitania regions. Valence, in the Drôme department, is considered the heart of the valley, and the area is known for its vineyards, including those around Tain-l Hermitage.
