The Valdigne is the upper part of the Aosta Valley in northwest Italy, running from La Salle to Courmayeur and including the side valleys of Val Ferret, Val Veny, and the La Thuile valley, all traversed by the Dora Baltea river, a tributary of the Po. Its five communes, Courmayeur, La Salle, La Thuile, Morgex, and Pre-Saint-Didier, together form the Unite des communes valdotaines du Valdigne-Mont-Blanc.
