The Valassina, also called the Vallassina, is the valley of the upper course of the river Lambro in the Larian Triangle in the Province of Como in northern Italy. Its most important settlement is the town of Asso, from which the valley takes its name, and at its border with the neighboring Brianza region lies the waterfall known as the Cascata della Vallategna. Near the end of the valley road rising from Bellagio stands the sanctuary of the Madonna del Ghisallo with its cycling museum.
