Val Trompia is a valley just over 50 kilometers long in the Province of Brescia in Lombardy, northern Italy, formed by the river Mella and its tributaries north of the city of Brescia. It lies between Val Camonica, Val Sabbia, and Lake Iseo, and has long been a center of mining and iron manufacturing, though its lower stretches have increasingly given way to suburban sprawl extending some 20 kilometers north from Brescia.
