Val Minor is a high alpine valley in the municipal area of Pontresina, north of the Bernina Pass in the canton of Graubünden, Switzerland, entered from around 2,400 meters elevation. Its mouth lies between the peaks of Piz Lagalb and Piz Alv, with Piz Alv and Piz Minor along its right side and Piz Lagalb on its left, and the valley ends at the mountain lake Lej Minor, which sits on the border with Italy at 2,361 meters. Between the 13th and 16th centuries the valley was mined for pyrite and arsenopyrite, yielding only small amounts of lead and silver, and it is reached today on foot or by bicycle from the Bernina Pass.
