Val Camonica is one of the largest valleys of the central Alps, in eastern Lombardy, Italy, running about 90 kilometers from the Tonale Pass to Corna Trentapassi. The valley covers roughly 1,335 square kilometers and is home to about 118,323 residents, with the River Oglio flowing through it. Its rock drawings have been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1979, and the whole valley became a UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve in 2018.
