The Scares are a group of rocky islets in Luce Bay, off the coast of Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland. The largest, Big Scare, lies roughly 12 kilometers southwest of Port William and about the same distance east of the Mull of Galloway, with a smaller rock to its west and three companion islets called the Little Scares about a kilometer to the northeast.
