Stjordalen

Valleys

Stjordalen is a valley and traditional district in Trondelag county, Norway, following the Stjordalselva river from the Norway-Sweden border 75 kilometers west to where it empties into the Trondheimsfjorden. The valley crosses the municipalities of Stjordal and Meraker, and the European route E14 highway and the Meraker Line railway both follow the river along its length.
