The Rose Valley is a region in Bulgaria lying just south of the Balkan Mountains, known locally as the Old Mountain, and north of the eastern end of the lower Sredna Gora range. Geologically it consists of two separate valleys, the Karlovo Valley on the river Stryama to the west and the Kazanlak Valley on the river Tundzha to the east.
