The Out Skerries are an archipelago of islets in Shetland, Scotland, forming the most easterly point of both Shetland and Scotland itself. Located about six kilometers northeast of Whalsay, the group covers roughly 400 hectares and rises to 53 meters at Bruray Wart. The three main inhabited islands are Housay, Bruray and Grunay, surrounded by numerous smaller skerries and stacks including Bound Skerry, which carries a lighthouse marking the most easterly point of Scotland. Around thirty people live on the islands, historically sustained by fishing on thin, infertile soil.
