The Luretta Valley, known in Italian as Val Luretta, is a valley of the Ligurian Apennines lying entirely within the province of Piacenza in the Emilia-Romagna region of Italy. It is formed by the Luretta river, twenty eight kilometers long with a catchment of about 101.6 square kilometers, created by the confluence of an upper branch from Monteventano and a lower branch from San Gabriele, and it empties into the Tidone river at the edge of the Po Valley. The valley main towns are Agazzano, Gragnano Trebbiense, Gazzola, Piozzano and Travo, its economy centers on cattle and horse breeding, and it holds several medieval castles as well as ties to the Battle of the Trebia fought nearby in 218 BC.
