Liebethaler Grund is a deeply carved valley cut by the Wesenitz river near Liebethal and Pirna in Saxony, Germany. It is a popular hiking destination followed by the Poet-Musician-Artist Way trail, and is regarded by some as marking the entrance to Saxon Switzerland along a classic route. The valley holds the remains of a historic hydropower station and what is described as the largest memorial anywhere to the composer Richard Wagner, standing near the old power station.
