Glen Shiel is a glen in the Northwest Highlands of Scotland, Scottish Gaelic Gleann Seile, also known as Glenshiel. The glen runs about nine miles (fourteen kilometres) from southeast to northwest, from the Cluanie Inn at the western end of Loch Cluanie and the start of Glenmoriston down to sea level at the village of Shiel Bridge and Loch Duich. Its northern side lies within the Kintail and Morvich estate owned by the National Trust for Scotland, and its lower reaches lie within the Kintail National Scenic Area, one of Scotland forty national scenic areas.
