Fljotsdalur is a valley in eastern Iceland, formed along the Lagarfljot River, with Lake Lagarfljot and the town of Egilsstadir lying to its north. The valley is known for the farm and cultural center at Skriduklaustur, the historic farmstead of Valthjofsstadur, and the waterfalls Hengifoss, Strutsfoss, and Kirkjufoss.
