Farndale is a valley and community in North Yorkshire, England, in the North York Moors National Park, about 11 miles north of Kirkbymoorside. It is known for the wild daffodils that flower each spring along a 7-mile stretch of the River Dove, and the northern part of the valley was made a Local Nature Reserve in 1955 to protect them. The valley holds three hamlets, Church Houses, Low Mill and Lowna, and its farming community keeps traditional Yorkshire dry stone walls.
