The Erebus Glacier Tongue is a mountain outlet glacier forming the seaward extension of Erebus Glacier from Ross Island, Antarctica. It projects 11 kilometers into McMurdo Sound from the Ross Island coastline near Cape Evans, varying in thickness from 50 meters at its snout to 300 meters where it is grounded on the shoreline. It was named and charted by explorers of Robert Falcon Scott's Discovery Expedition of 1901 to 1904.
