Cô Tô is an archipelago of seventy one islands off the coast of Quang Ninh province in northeastern Vietnam, administered as a special administrative zone covering about 47.3 square kilometers. The three largest islands are Cô Tô Lớn, Thanh Lan and Tran, and the zone was formally established on March 23, 1994. As of the 2022 census the archipelago held 6,778 residents, the lowest population of any subdivision in its province, spread across the town of Cô Tô and the communes of Thanh Lan and Dong Tien.
