Birkdale is a dale in the Yorkshire Dales National Park in North Yorkshire, England, lying at the far western end of Swaledale near the border with Cumbria. It is one of the smallest of the Yorkshire Dales, and the hamlet of Birkdale sits in its lower reaches, about 2 miles west of Keld, within the civil parish of Muker.
