Atka Glacier lies immediately east of Flagship Mountain in Victoria Land, Antarctica, draining north into the Fry Glacier. It was discovered and named in 1957 by the New Zealand Northern Survey Party of the Commonwealth Trans-Antarctic Expedition of 1956 to 1958, after the USS Atka, an American icebreaker that took part in the convoy to McMurdo Sound during the 1956-57 season.
