Annandale is a district of Dumfriesshire, Scotland, centered on the dale, or valley, of the River Annan. It runs north to south through the Southern Uplands from Annanhead to Annan on the Solway Firth, bordered by Nithsdale to the west and Eskdale to the east, and the Annandale Way footpath runs its full length of about 53 miles.
