Seismologist

The scientists whose primary documented field is earthquake measurement and the earth's internal structure as read through seismic waves: Charles Richter, Inge Lehmann, Beno Gutenberg, John Milne, Andrija Mohorovicic and Kiyoo Wadati among them, plus Harry Fielding Reid, whose defining contribution, elastic rebound theory, is seismological despite a Geophysicist co-label.
