Other Erosional Landforms

Named erosional landforms that are real, coherent geomorphological features but do not fit a more specific branch of the erosional and karst classification above, following the residual erosional landform class of standard geomorphology. Includes natural arches and bridges cut through rock by erosion (Delicate Arch, Rainbow Bridge, Natural Bridge Virginia), potholes carved into streambeds (Bourke's Luck Potholes), badlands terrain not dominated by hoodoo formation, buttes and mesas left standing by erosion, and natural tunnels shaped by combined erosional processes (Torghatten). Belongs here: any named erosional formation that does not fit Glaciers and Ice Formations, Valleys, Gorges and Canyons, Karst Caves and Sinkholes, Cenotes, Hoodoos and Rock Pillars, Interfluves and Ridges, Coastal and Reef Features or Islands and Archipelagos. Does not belong here: anything matching one of those more specific groups; this is the residual erosional-landform bucket for this category, not a second catch-all for non-erosional material.
