Jenny Anne Barretto is a Filipino geologist and geophysicist based in New Zealand. Born and raised in the Philippines, she earned a master' s degree in geology from the University of the Philippines in 1998. She is credited with the discovery of the Apolaki Caldera, an undersea volcanic caldera roughly 150 kilometers in diameter that is considered the largest known caldera in the world.
