Processes

Physical and environmental processes that shape the Earth over time: plate tectonics, erosion, weathering, seafloor spreading and similar ongoing mechanisms, each described by what drives it, what it produces and over what timescale it typically operates, from a single storm season to millions of years. This category excludes a specific one time event such as an eruption or earthquake, which is carried under its own event entity instead.
