The Potawatomi Islands are a chain of islands marking the transition from Green Bay to Lake Michigan in the United States. French explorers first called them the Noquet Islands after the Noquet people of the region, American settlers later called them the Grand Traverse Islands, and Potawatomi Islands has become the most common historic name for the group.
