Port Royal Cays

The Port Royal Cays are a small group of uninhabited islands off Port Royal, Jamaica, arranged in a roughly circular atoll shape about four to five kilometers across. The atoll covers about twelve square kilometers of water but only around 0.03 square kilometers of actual land, spread across eight named cays. Lime Cay, on the northeastern rim, is the largest and best known, with patches of woodland, sand and coral, while Gun Cay sits at the northern tip barely 400 meters from Jamaica's mainland. The cays are uninhabited and serve as a seabird colony within Jamaica's territorial waters.
