Glénan Islands

The Glenan Islands are an archipelago off the coast of France, in the south of Finistere near Concarneau and Fouesnant. The group comprises nine major islands, Saint-Nicolas, the Loc'h, Penfret, Cigogne, Drenec, Bananec, Brunec, Guiriden and Gueotec, along with more than a dozen smaller islets such as Quignenec, Brilimec and Kastell Bargain. The Ile aux Moutons, roughly halfway to the mainland, is considered part of the archipelago, and administratively the islands belong to the commune of Fouesnant.
