Once Islas

Once Islas is an eco-cultural tourism attraction consisting of eleven small islands in Zamboanga City, Philippines, which opened to visitors in July 2018. Four of the eleven islands, Baung-Baung, Bisaya-Bisaya, Buh-Buh and Sirommon, are open to the public, and the group is managed by the Banguingui people; the Chavacano name Once Islas means eleven islands. The islands feature rock formations and white-sand beaches, with sandbars on at least one island, and sit within Panubigan and Dita barangays about an hour from mainland Zamboanga City.
