The Burkett Islands are a small group of islands lying just west of Mount Gleadell in the eastern part of Amundsen Bay, in Enderby Land, Antarctica. They were mapped from aerial photographs taken during the 1956 Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions, and were named by the Antarctic Names Committee of Australia for G. E. L.
