Low Isles, Queensland

Low Isles is an offshore locality of the Shire of Douglas in Queensland, Australia, made up of two islands, Low Island and the larger Woody Island, separated by the Low Islands Reef in the Coral Sea. It lies east of Rocky Point, about 14.5 kilometers northeast of Port Douglas on the mainland, covers about two square kilometers, and recorded no resident population in the 2021 census; the area has a tropical monsoon climate with mean annual rainfall of 2,100.7 millimeters.
