Kiaulės Nugara is an island in the Curonian Lagoon within the Port of Klaipėda, Lithuania, whose name translates as the back of a pig. It measures about 800 meters long and 200 to 300 meters wide, making it one of Lithuanias larger islands, and today carries an electric power transmission station linking Klaipėda to the Curonian Spit, with overhead cables strung only nine meters above the water that restrict navigation nearby. As of late 2014 a floating storage and regasification unit for the Klaipėda LNG terminal was planned to begin operating from the island.
