Wetland, Bog and Fen Landforms

This group collects the Landform Concepts subcategory's members that name and define wet, low-energy landforms and the ground they form on: bogs, fens, carrs, salt pannes and the region-specific wetland terms such as siek, schlatt and mallin used for a permanently or seasonally saturated depression. Each entry defines the wetland type and how standing or slow-moving water and the vegetation it supports shape the ground, rather than describing one named marsh or swamp.
