Wright Valley is a large east west trending valley in Victoria Land, Antarctica, the central of the three McMurdo Dry Valleys in the Transantarctic Mountains west of McMurdo Sound. Once filled by glacial ice, it is now largely ice free apart from the Wright Upper Glacier at its head and Wright Lower Glacier at its mouth, an unusual deglaciated state given its closeness to the East Antarctic Ice Sheet, and it hosts the Onyx River, Antarctica's longest, along with several lakes and tributary glaciers.
