A windstreak is a planetary surface feature of aeolian origin, marked by an albedo that contrasts with the surrounding surface in an elongated pattern, and commonly, though not exclusively, associated with a topographical obstacle such as a crater. Windstreaks have been observed on Mars, Venus, Titan and Earth, where they are considered rare, with terrestrial examples documented at the Pali-Aike volcanic field.
