The Willamette Valley is a valley about 150 miles long in Oregon, in the Pacific Northwest region of the United States, with the Willamette River flowing its entire length. It is surrounded by mountains on three sides, the Cascade Range to the east, the Oregon Coast Range to the west, and the Calapooya Mountains to the south, and is home to roughly 70 percent of Oregon's population, including the state's five largest cities.
