Whitsun Reef, also called Whitson Reef, Whitsum Reef or Julian Felipe Reef, is the largest reef of the Union Banks at the northeast edge of the Spratly Islands in the South China Sea. The roughly V-shaped reef covers about 10 square kilometers and is unoccupied, but is claimed by China, the Philippines, Taiwan and Vietnam amid the region's broader territorial disputes.
