Vernagtferner is a glacier in the Oetztal Alps in Tyrol, Austria, covering about 7.31 square kilometers and ranking among the largest glaciers in the Eastern Alps. It lies on the southern side of the Weisskamm ridge, with the Hochvernagtspitze and the Brochkogel forming the highest peaks in its catchment area. Some maps split it into a Kleiner Vernagtferner and a Groesser Vernagtferner around the Brochkogel area, though these divisions do not meet the scientific criteria for separate glaciers.
