The Valley of the Kings, or Chongye Valley, is a valley in Qonggyai County, Tibet, in the People's Republic of China. It is the site of eight tumuli believed to be the burial mounds of eight to ten Tibetan rulers; Tibetan tradition holds that every king from Drigum onward was buried at Phyonggyas, though the site today presents just ten identifiable tombs, spanning the kings from Songtsen Gampo to Ralpachen and including two princes.
