Treshnish Isles

The Treshnish Isles are an uninhabited archipelago of small islands and skerries in the Inner Hebrides of Scotland, lying west of the Isle of Mull and spanning about 7 kilometers with a combined area of roughly 128 hectares. All of the islands are of volcanic origin, and the largest, Lunga, covers nearly 60 hectares and rises to 103 meters at its highest point, Cruachan. The isles are a popular destination for visitors hoping to see puffin colonies in summer, and stewardship passed from the Hebridean Trust, which held them from 2000, to the National Trust for Scotland in June 2023.
