The Hazards is a mountain range in Freycinet National Park on Tasmania's east coast, Australia, sitting between Coles Bay and Wineglass Bay and named after Captain Richard Hazard, a local whaler. The range is built of granite containing orthoclase, a pink feldspar, which gives the mountains their distinctive pink coloration visible from nearby viewpoints. Its five peaks reach a maximum elevation of 485 meters (1,591 feet) at Mount Dove, the highest, with Mount Amos at 454 meters, Mount Mayson at 415 meters, Mount Baudin at 413 meters and Mount Parson at 331 meters. A well established walking track crosses the saddle between Mount Mayson and Mount Amos, providing access to the popular Wineglass Bay lookout.
