The Burren is a karst and glaciokarst landscape centred in County Clare on the west coast of Ireland, covering about 530 square kilometres within the circle formed by the villages of Lisdoonvarna, Corofin, Gort and Kinvara. It includes natural features such as Mullaghmore hill and the Ailladie cliffs alongside ancient monuments such as the Poulnabrone dolmen, and its adjacent territory, including the Cliffs of Moher, forms the internationally recognised Burren and Cliffs of Moher Geopark.
